PAE has purchased Silver Spring, Maryland-based disaster response services provider Macfadden & Associates for an undisclosed sum.
œMacfadden will expand PAE™s customer reach, building upon the relationship PAE established with [the U.S. Agency for International Development] when PAE supported their response to the Ebola outbreak in 2015, PAE CEO John Heller said in a statement published Friday.

Heller added the acquisition complements PAE™s work with the State Department and would help the Arlington, Virginia-based government services contractor broaden its portfolio of offerings and capabilities.
Macfadden has a workforce of approximately 300 employees in the Washington area and supports the U.S. government™s disaster relief and humanitarian response missions through human resources, information technology platforms, communications and travel coordination support as well as financial, program and knowledge management services.
