A joint venture ofGeneral Dynamics(NYSE: GD) andRaytheon (NYSE: RTN) has received a one-year, $95.7 million contract modification from the U.S. Air Force to perform integrated support work on the service branch’s launch and test range system.
The Defense Departmentsaid Monday the Air Force’s Space and Missile Systems Center will use fiscal 2017 operations and maintenance funds to cover the full obligated amount.
The modification exercises an option on a previously awarded $1.5 billion contract to Range Generation Next for LTRS operations, maintenance and sustainment support services.
RGNext will perform work in California and Florida through Sept. 30, 2017.
