Austal‘s U.S. business arm has received a potential five-year, $215.9 million contract from the U.S. Navy to repair and maintain littoral combat ships stationed in the countries and ports within the Western Pacific and the Indian Ocean.
Under a $72.5 million base contract award, Austal USA will primarily perform work in Singapore from January 2022 through December 2023, the Department of Defense said Tuesday.
The indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract has a two-year base period of performance followed by three one-year option periods.
