Five independent firms and one joint venture have won spots on a potential five-year, $249M from the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers to design, build, rehabilitate, maintain or repair systems at government facilities.
Contractors will compete for orders to perform support work on mechanical, plumbing, utility, heating and air conditioning, utility, structural, electrical, security, safety and instrumentation equipment, the Department of Defense said Monday.
USACE received 20 bids for the firm-fixed-price contract via the internet and will determine performance locations and funds with each order.
The Pentagon expects contractors to complete tasks by Oct. 3, 2024.
