Tyto Athene will provide systems integration support and managed services for communications platforms of the Defense Department and civilian agencies, Arlington Capital said Monday.
Jeff Murray, senior vice president of Black Boxs former government solutions business, will serve as CEO of Tyto Athene, while Chris Meilhammer and Jason Alexander will respectively serve as chief operating officer and VP of operations.
Former Black Box CEOs Mike McAndrew and Terry Blakemore will serve as board members of the newly created firm.
Michael Lustbader, a managing partner at Arlington, said Tyto Athene will leverage the Acuity Micro Data Center and other technologies of the newly acquired business to meet customers needs and support U.S. government clients information technology modernization efforts.
