Aaron Tyler, former chief technology officer at the White House Communications Agency, has joined General Dynamics’ (NYSE: GD) information technology business as solutions architect.
Garrett Yee, vice president and general manager of GDIT’s Army sector, announced Tyler’s appointment in a LinkedIn post published Tuesday.
Tyler is a retired U.S. Army chief warrant officer with 25 years of IT experience in the military and private sector.
His career at the service branch included roles as IT service operations manager, senior technical program manager and deputy chief information officer.
Since 2016, Tyler has worked as an adjunct professor at the University of Maryland, where he also earned his bachelor’s and master’s degrees.
