BAE Systems has finalized its acquisition of the military GPS business of Raytheon Technologies’ (NYSE: RTX) Collins Aerospace subsidiary. BAE agreed to buy the military GPS business for $1.925B in cash in January and expects the transaction to expand its existing portfolio of electronics systems, the company said Friday.

DARPA Taps Northrop, Raytheon, Collins Aerospace to Develop Counter-A2/AD Platforms

Northrop Grumman (NYSE: NOC), Raytheon (NYSE: RTN) and Collins Aerospace has landed contracts from the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency to develop technology platforms for countering anti-access/area denial threats. DARPA selected the three companies to participate in the first and second phases of the System-of -Systems Enhanced Small Unit program, according to a notice posted Tuesday on the beta SAM website.
