Collins Aerospace Awarded $62M SOCOM Contract for Tactical Mission Network Services

Collins Aerospace will perform tactical mission network services in support of the U.S. Special Operations Command under a $62 million contract.

The RTX (NYSE: RTX) business will provide SOCOM’s Technology Applications Program Office with logistics assistance and life-cycle support for avionics and cockpit systems over a five-year period, the Department of Defense said Wednesday.

The contract is a firm-fixed-price, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity award and includes one six-month option to extend the initial ordering period. Majority of work under the IDIQ will be conducted in Fort Campbell, Kentucky.

At the time of award, SOCOM is obligating $9.7 million in fiscal year 2023 operations and maintenance funding on the first task order.
