Lockheed Demos Laser Beam Control Turret


lockheed martinTYSONS CORNER, VA, October 19,  2015 — Lockheed Martin (NYSE: LMT) has developed a turbulence-taming turret that works to expand the laser capabilities of jet aircraft with a 360-degree field of regard, ExecutiveBiz reported Friday.

A prototype of the Aero-adaptive Aero-optic Beam Control turret has undergone over 60 field tests since 2014, Lockheed said Thursday.
