CAE announced Tuesday that it was awarded three defense contracts, totalling over C$150 million ($117.5 million USD).
The first contract was to develop an MH-60R maintenance and rear-crew trainers for Royal Australian Navy.
The second contract was  provide two UH-72A Lakota flight training devices (FTD) for U.S. Army. The contract was awarded by Airbus Defense and Space, Inc.
The third contract was to provide two full-mission simulators for a client in the Europe, Middle East, Â Africa region.
CAE has focused on being a training simulation integrator and “these additional contracts we are announcing today are all related to the extended use of simulation-based training as part of these programs, further demonstrating that global defence forces are increasingly adopting synthetic training for more of their training requirements, “Â said Gene Colabatistto, CAE’s Group President, Defence & Security and recipient of the Executive Mosaic 2015 Wash100 Award.
