Egypt will use the mobile sensor security system to help border guard personnel carry out surveillance operations along Libya and other international borders, the Defense Security Cooperation Agency said Wednesday.
DSCA said it notified Congress of the possible sale Tuesday and will name the principal contractor during the contractâs negotiations.
The agreement also covers regional and mobile command and control systems, mobile sensor surveillance towers, data and voice communications tools, spare parts, training resources, logistics support and technical documentation services.
