Vectrus Systems Gets $160M Army Contract Modification for SW Asia Support


VectrusVectrus Systems, a subsidiary of Exelis (NYSE: XLS) spinoff company Vectrus (NYSE: VEC), will provide operations and maintenance support for the U.S. Army‘s communications equipment and information systems under a $160.2 million contract modification.

The Defense Department said Thursday Vectrus will support the Army Network Enterprise Technology Command‘s 160th Signal Brigade and other units deployed to Southwest Asia through May 31, 2016.

The company will perform work in Afghanistan, Bahrain, Iraq, Jordan,  Kuwait, Qatar and the United Arab Emirates.

DoD said the full obligated amount is from the Army’s fiscal 2015 operations and maintenance funds.
