Steve Comber, formerly president of Leidos‘ (NYSE: LDOS) health group, has joined ManTech International (NASDAQ: MANT) as senior vice president and general manager of the company’s federal health business unit.
“Federal health (information technology)Â is a strategic focus for ManTech, ” George Pedersen, ManTech chairman and CEO, Â said Tuesday.
At ManTech, Comber will lead a business unit that provides health IT services to agencies such as the Defense Health Agency, the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services and the Department of Veterans Affairs.
Comber also led the health group for Leidos when it was known as Science Applications International Corp. and that group became a federal and commercial health business with $800 million in annual revenue, ManTech says.
