Avaya intends for the acquisition to address the social media requirements of customers, grow its reporting and monitoring services, as well as enhance the company’s cloud, unified communication and contact center management technologies, Avaya said Tuesday.
Avaya’s new wholly-owned subsidiary, ITNavigator, deploys its social media gateway either as a standalone service or as a hybrid cloud platform.
The social media company’s management and performance monitoring tools work to collect updates from various sources, including customer relationship management and billing systems and transmit the reports through cloud, hybrid or heterogeneous platforms.
