This modification covers engineering, development and initial production work under the Range Radar Replacement Program, the company said Thursday.
The close-in radar system is designed to detect low-flying objects from a distance of at least 37 miles.
Chris Marzilli, president of the C4 systems unit, said the radar is the second in a class of range instrumentation systems for Army test ranges in Alabama, Arizona, New Mexico and Maryland.
The company leads a work team comprising of STAR Dynamics, Georgia Tech Research Institute and EO Imaging.
