CSC to Help Marines Engineer C4 Systems

CSC logo_GovConWireComputer Sciences Corp. (NYSE: CSC) has won a potential $29.9 million contract to provide technical and engineering support to the U.S. Marine Corps for C4 systems (command, control, communications and computers).

The contract includes an initial base year worth $7.2 million and four option years that would bring the contract to its maximum value, the San Diego Business Journal reported Monday.

Seven contractors submitted bids for the firm-fixed-price, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract, according to the report.

CSC will perform 29 percent of the work at Camp Pendleton, Calif., 32 percent at Marine bases in the continental U.S. and the remaining 39 percent at overseas bases.
