Domestically, the systems will be delivered to the U.S. Navy, Marine Corps, Air Force and other services.
The contract was awarded through the foreign military sales program and includes purchases for the governments of:
- India
- Iraq
- Oman
- Australia
- Italy
- Spain
- The U.K.
The Pentagon expects the company to also repair hardware to ready-for-issue condition and provide technical and cost data submissions.
A majority of the work will be performed in Clearwater, Fla. and Austin, Texas, and will include foreign locations such as Natanya, Israel and Iwata City, Japan.
ATK will manufacture new assemblies on the award, including:
· 155 A(V)2 and 621 B(V)2 integrated optical sensor convertors
· 55 A(V)2 and 159 B(V)2 computer processors
· 79 countermeasure signal simulators
· A(V)2 to B(V)2 retrofits for the Air Force assets
The expected completion date is January 2015.
Contract funds in the amount of $19, 903, 313 will be obligated at time of award, of which $430, 953 will expire at the end of current fiscal year.
The Naval Air Systems Command, Patuxent River, Md., is the contracting activity.
