BAE Systems has won an $89 million contract to make vehicle emergency escape windows for Humvees. BAE will manufacture 29, 000 emergency escape window kits under the contract. Work on the order will be performed in Minneapolis and Butler, Pennsylvania. Windows will be installed in the M1151 Mobility Multipurpose Wheeled Vehicles, better known as “Humvees.”
Eight companies have won spots on a five-year, $701 million indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract from the U.S. Navy to repair, maintain and modernize non-nuclear surface ships homeported in Mayport, Florida.
