SAIC has secured a $400 million recompete contract for services supporting a U.S. intelligence agency, pushing the company’s Intel Space market wins past $1.6 billion for the first half of fiscal 2027, the company said Wednesday.

The contract covers systems engineering, technical integration and mission support for ground-based intelligence community programs. The multi-domain intelligence integration company will leverage its expertise in domain systems and its ability to deliver intelligence at mission speed to perform the work.
What Did SAIC Leadership Say About the Contract?
Vinnie DiFronzo, executive vice president of the Air Force, space and intelligence business group at SAIC, said the award reflects continued customer confidence in the company’s ability to deliver integrated ground capabilities in support of intelligence missions.
DiFronzo, a three-time Wash100 Award winner and a speaker at the Potomac Officers Club’s 2026 R&D Summit held in January, added that the contract reinforces SAIC’s Intel Space portfolio and the expertise of its workforce supporting intelligence community programs operating in a complex threat environment.

What Other Recent Contracts Has SAIC Won?
The recompete award adds to a series of recent contracts supporting national security missions. Most recently, SAIC secured a $70 million Navy task order to provide engineering and sustainment support for radar, radio frequency and microwave systems at Naval Surface Warfare Center Crane Division. The work covers multiple radar and defense systems and includes efforts to advance next-generation radar capabilities and support testing under operational conditions.
In June, the company secured a leading position in a potential $192 million Air Force contract to support digital infrastructure development for the Advanced Battle Management System, helping design, develop and deploy components of the Department of the Air Force Battle Network for multi-domain data sharing and command-and-control operations.
Also in June, SAIC received a $50.6 million follow-on Navy task order to support design, modernization and sustainment of torpedo defense systems, using digital engineering, modeling and simulation for system analyses, cybersecurity and software and hardware development.
