Leidos has received a potential five-year, $717 million task order from the U.S. Air Force to continue providing intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance operations support for Air Combat Command, or ACC.

The company said Tuesday ACC’s Acquisition Management and Integration Center, or AMIC, awarded the task order.
What Is the Scope of the Air Force Task Order?
The task order includes a one-year base period and four one-year option periods. The company will perform work at more than 35 locations in the U.S. and overseas.
Under the task order, Leidos will provide subject matter expertise, ISR operations support, intelligence analysis, threat mitigation, training and mission support services for ACC headquarters, subordinate numbered air forces, centers and wings. The task order supports Leidos’ broader NorthStar 2030 strategy, which centers on helping Department of War customers sustain readiness and counter emerging threats.
Leidos has served as the prime contractor for this mission since 2019, and the latest task order extends that partnership.
What Is Air Combat Command?
ACC, which is based at Joint Base Langley-Eustis in Hampton, Virginia, is one of the Air Force’s major commands, supplying combat air, cyber, space and intelligence capabilities to combatant commands across the U.S. military. AMIC handles acquisition functions supporting the command’s mission areas.
“Airmen operate in an environment where decisions often depend on the speed, quality and clarity of intelligence,” said Jason McCarthy, senior vice president of airborne and mission solutions at Leidos. “Since 2019, our team has worked alongside Air Combat Command to provide mission-focused ISR support, training and analysis. This next phase of work builds on that foundation with the insight and operational expertise needed to help Airmen assess threats, prepare for missions and support operations around the world.”
What Other Air Force Contracts Has Leidos Recently Secured?
The new task order builds on other Air Force contracts secured by Leidos in recent months. In June, Leidos secured a $475 million contract to provide product support integration services for the F-16 Avionics Intermediate Shop program. In March, the company received a $455 million contract to modernize and secure the Air Force’s Cloud One platform, accelerating the deployment of cloud capabilities across mission environments.
