- Woven Solutions has expanded its cyber and engineering portfolio through the acquisition of Insignis

- Insignis will bring experience supporting cybersecurity and national security missions
Woven Solutions has completed the acquisition of Insignis, a provider of systems engineering and software development services for critical cyber operations, Falfurrias Management Partners said Thursday.
Why Did Woven Acquire Insignis?
The acquisition is expected to enhance Woven’s technical capabilities and workforce by integrating Insignis’ systems engineering, network engineering and software development expertise. Insignis supports government customers through infrastructure development, security and sustainment services for cybersecurity and national security missions. Its engineers design, build and maintain complex technology environments used across sensitive government operations.
The combination is expected to strengthen Woven’s engineering and software development capabilities and deepen relationships with key customers.
What Did Woven CEO Ajay Patel Say About the Insignis Acquisition?
Ajay Patel, CEO of Woven, said Insignis brings engineering talent, a delivery-focused culture and complementary expertise that align with the company’s growth strategy.
“Bringing Insignis into Woven means more talent, stronger solutions, and better value for the customers and missions we serve,” said Patel.
How Does the Deal Support Woven’s Expansion Strategy?
The Insignis acquisition is Woven’s fourth since Falfurrias invested in the company in August 2025. In February, Woven acquired Valence, a provider of mission planning, operational technology integration and strategic communications services, and Apira Technologies, an AI software company focused on cyber and information operations. The company also acquired Cystemic Security in December 2025.
