DeEtte Gray to Retire as CACI President of US Operations

DeEtte Gray, president of U.S. operations at CACI International, is set to retire after nearly a decade with the Reston, Virginia-based government technology contractor.

In a Form 8-K filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission dated June 5, CACI said Gray notified the company of her intention to retire from her current role effective June 30.

What Is DeEtte Gray’s Transition Plan?

According to the filing, Gray will remain with CACI through Dec. 31 as a strategic adviser to support leadership transition efforts.

The company said it entered into a transition and separation agreement with Gray, outlining her advisory responsibilities during the six-month transition period.

Under the agreement, Gray will receive a prorated portion of her annual base salary of $763,497 and will continue participating in CACI’s annual bonus program at a reduced rate, approximately 25 percent of her annualized base salary at target performance. She will also receive a reduced time-based equity grant tied to completion of transition responsibilities.

CACI noted that the agreement does not provide severance or change-in-control benefits and does not alter the vesting terms of her existing equity awards beyond current plan provisions.

What Has DeEtte Gray Accomplished at CACI?

Gray joined CACI in 2017 and has held several senior leadership positions supporting the company’s growth in federal markets.

As president of U.S. operations, she oversees more than 20,000 employees delivering capabilities across command, control, communications, computers and intelligence; cyber; digital solutions; enterprise IT; mission engineering and support; space; and spectrum superiority markets.

Prior to assuming her current role, Gray led CACI’s business and information technology solutions organization, where she managed enterprise IT and digital modernization programs supporting government customers.

Before joining CACI, she spent five years as president of BAE Systems‘ intelligence and security sector, overseeing information technology, cyber operations, intelligence analysis and systems engineering programs. Earlier in her career, she held leadership positions at Lockheed Martin, including vice president of enterprise information technology solutions within the company’s information systems and global services business.

Gray serves on the Virginia Children’s Science Center Advisory Board and previously chaired the board of directors of AFCEA International.

Throughout her career, she has received multiple industry recognitions, including 10 Wash100 awards from Executive Mosaic and AFCEA’s Women’s Appreciation Award.
