QinetiQ US has appointed Tracy Gee, a more than 30-year human resources executive, as chief people officer to oversee the company’s talent strategy and organizational culture initiatives.
“Tracy brings exceptional leadership and strategic vision that is instrumental to growth and critical to our mission in support of our customer objectives,” Tom Vecchiolla, president and CEO of QinetiQ US, said in a statement published Tuesday.
“Her proven track record of strengthening talent pipelines, developing people strategies and fostering a high-performance culture further enables us to attract, retain and empower our exceptional people who deliver mission-led innovation for defense and national security customers,” added Vecchiolla, a two-time Wash100 awardee.
The appointment comes as the QinetiQ Group’s U.S. subsidiary continues to strengthen its leadership team and expand mission-critical capabilities across national security and defense markets.
Gee said she is excited to join QinetiQ US and looks forward to shaping and implementing a people strategy that empowers employees to excel while supporting the company’s mission in defense and national security.
Who Is Tracy Gee?
Gee most recently served as chief people officer and head of the Center for Inclusive Governance at the National Association of Corporate Directors.
Her industry career includes HR leadership positions at Raytheon, Liberty Mutual and Fidelity Investments.
The Wellesley College graduate has an Advanced Certificate in Organizational Development and HR Management from Columbia University and the University of Michigan.
The QinetiQ US executive is also a member of the Society for Human Resources Management.
