Electronic connector manufacturer Amphenol has acquired Narda-MITEQ from investment affiliates of private equity firm J.F. Lehman & Co., or JFLCO, for an undisclosed sum.

Manufacturing RF, Microwave Tech for Defense Markets

JFLCO said Thursday Narda-MITEQ designs and produces advanced radio frequency and microwave components and subsystems for defense and commercial end markets.

Narda-MITEQ’s highly engineered platforms are designed to facilitate the management, conditioning and transfer of RF and microwave energy in demanding operating environments across signals intelligence, electronic warfare, communications, radar, and test and measurement applications.

In 2021, JFLCO acquired Narda-MITEQ from L3Harris Technologies. Under the leadership of CEO Bob Tavares and his team, Narda-MITEQ purchased Intelligent RF Solutions in December 2021 to broaden its client base and product suite.

“Through our partnership with the team at JFLCO, we have achieved tremendous organizational and process transformation resulting in significant operational and commercial improvements for our customers and employees. We are excited to build on our successes with our new partners at Amphenol,” Tavares said.
