The Transportation Security Administration has awarded Leidos a potential $2.63 billion contract to provide integrated logistics support services for the maintenance of checkpoint screening equipment deployed at airports and government-designated facilities.
According to a notice published Tuesday on SAM.gov, TSA awarded the contract in December.
Contract Scope
In April 2024, TSA released a request for proposals for the contract, which has a six-month base transition in period, seven one-year option terms and one six-month option period.
According to the performance work statement, the vendor will be responsible for all elements of transportation security equipment sustainment and logistics support, including radiation surveys; corrective maintenance; applicable preventive maintenance; excepted maintenance; communications; supply support; maintenance planning; tools, test equipment and calibration; parts and parts obsolescence; subcontract agreements; and TSA Service Response Center services.
