Leidos has been awarded a potential $107 million contract by the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency’s Office of Geography and Source Strategies Office for geospatial intelligence, or GEOINT, products.
Leidos GEOINT Contract Scope
The Reston, Virginia-based IT company said Tuesday it will supply human geographic, topographic and open-source data products needed by the agency’s cartographers, toponymists, catalogers, human geographers and collectors for daily operations. In addition, the contractor will deliver GEOINT products for the Geographic Names Server.
The contract has an initial one-year base period, followed by four one-year options and another six-month extension. Leidos will receive a total of $107 million if all options are exercised.
Roy Stevens, president of the national security sector at Leidos, underscored how agency analysts need timely and accurate data to perform analysis supporting mission requirements.
The 2023 Wash100 Award winner added, “Our geographic and topographic data products help enable analysts to support warfighters and national security objectives with precision.”
