Gunnison Consulting Group has secured a five-year contract from the State Department to provide cybersecurity support services for the Bureau of Consular Affairs.
The McLean, Virginia-based company said Thursday it will implement a zero trust strategy to help the department’s Consular Systems Technology Chief Information Security Officer improve its cybersecurity defenses.
The contract is valued at approximately $26.6 million and has a one-year base term and four option years.
Gunnison will also provide cybersecurity policy, infrastructure protection and compliance services to support the State Department’s mission.
“This contract reflects our continued growth as a trusted partner in cybersecurity for the federal government,” said Gunnison CEO Gil Dussek.
Dussek noted that the company is committed to delivering scalable platforms designed to improve the security of the State Department’s key systems and data.
