SSC said Tuesday the information technology company’s work is also aimed at contributing to the Department of Defense’s initiative to connect platforms and weapons through seamless data transport across all military branches and foreign partners.
Under the follow-on production agreement, Sev1Tech will enable the network’s services to cover more than 85 locations while providing around-the-clock managed transport services and enterprise-wide upgrades all year.
The meshONE-T follow-on effort aligns with DOD’s Combined Joint All-Domain Command and Control initiative. The Wide Area Network supports the U.S. Space Force, Advanced Battle Management System and other mission partners by boosting warfighting capabilities through a secure and efficient connection between data producers and data consumers.
In September 2021, Sev1Tech won a $47.5 million Space Force contract to develop and demonstrate a data transport-as-a-service platform as part of the meshONE-T initiative.
