Julie Vida, a professional with an extensive career including U.S. Navy service and technology and defense industry leadership roles, has assumed the position of vice president of growth for the defense sector at ManTech, according to her LinkedIn post published Tuesday.
She joined the federal technology services company after she worked at Splunk, where she was group VP and chief strategy adviser, contributing to its brand awareness and market positioning within the U.S. public sector.
Vida also recently held positions as a board trustee at the U.S. Naval Academy Alumni Association and as a board adviser at the Cal Poly Orfalea College of Business prior to joining ManTech.
Her career further encompasses advisory roles at the Washington Cyber Roundtable and executive positions at Gartner. In addition to her role at ManTech, Vida serves as a senior adviser at the management consulting firm McChrystal Group.
Before transitioning to the private sector, Vida devoted over 27 years to the Navy, assuming leadership roles such as leading Task Force Cyber Awakening and representing the Navy’s chief information officer at the Pentagon.
