Ahmed Ayad, former vice president and defense sector growth lead at ManTech, has joined HII‘s (NYSE: HII) Mission Technologies division as chief growth officer.
The 20-year government market veteran will drive growth strategy implementation and innovation efforts to support national security customers, HII said Friday.
He spent the past four years at ManTech and, before that, held a short stint as strategic capture director for CACI International (NYSE: CACI).
His industry experience also includes capture posts at Leidos (NYSE: LDOS) and STG, and program management roles at Management Systems International and RTI International.
“[Ayad] has extensive expertise in strategic growth and capture management, and deep knowledge in C5ISR, cyber, intelligent system engineering, IT modernization, cloud migration and data analytics,” said Andy Green, president of HII Mission Technologies anda five-time Wash100 awardee.
