General Dynamics’ (NYSE: GD) information technology business has secured a potential 10-year, $4.5 billion contract from the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency for user-facing and data center services.
GDIT will provide such IT services in support of multiple security domains and networks, including the Intelligence Community’s cloud and desktop environments from various locations worldwide, according to an award notice published Monday.
The contract has a five-year ordering period and five one-year options.
Work will occur at three NGA core sites in Springfield, Virginia; St. Louis; and Arnold, Missouri. The contractor will also perform work at more than 150 IC and Department of Defense partner sites worldwide.
NGA issued a solicitation for the UDS acquisition contract in September 2020.
