Bell Boeing Receives $143M Order for Navy, Air Force Osprey Aircraft Components

A joint venture between Boeing (NYSE: BA) and Textron‘s (NYSE: TXT) Bell subsidiary received a $143.2 million delivery order to help the U.S. Navy and the U.S. Air Force address logistical requirements for Osprey military tiltrotor aircraft parts.

Bell Boeing Joint Program Office will deliver and repair components of Osprey’s MV-22B and CMV-22 variants to the Navy and CV-22 special operations variant to USAF, the Department of Defense said Tuesday.

Naval Supply Systems Command’s weapon systems support unit will obligate the full order amount using fiscal 2021 working capital funds.

Work under the non-competitive award will take place in Fort Worth, Texas, through December 2025.

The V-22 joint service multirole combat aircraft is designed to take off and land like a helicopter and fly in fixed-wing mode, according to Boeing.
