The DOL pilot program offers apprenticeship across 16 career fields and provides paid on-the-job training to allow veterans to apply the leadership and technical skills they acquired during their military career to help meet civilian workplace needs.
GovCon CEOs can still respond and support veterans as this challenge continues throughout 2021. If you want your company to take part in supporting transitioning veterans through the DOL pilot program, you can send your inquiries to the apprenticeship pilot team at vetsapprenticeship@dol.gov or michael.h.anderson@serco-na.com.
