Serco Wins Potential $154M Navy Force Protection Tech Sustainment Order

Serco Inc., the British defense contractor’s North American division, has won a potential $153.5 million task order to help the U.S. Navy maintain hardware, software and firmware for a global anti-terrorism force protection program managed by Commander, Navy Installations Command.

This award falls under a potential $600 million indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract for ATFP sustainment services to support physical security and access command, control, communications, computers and intelligence systems, the Department of Defense said Thursday.

DOD noted the task order has a $38.1 million base value and contains 23 options that would extend work through February 2026.

Under the order, Serco Inc. will conduct life cycle support and preventive maintenance activities for subsystems associated with the ATFP program including cabling elements and platforms for signal and data transmission.

The Herndon, Virginia-based contractor will also facilitate equipment overhaul, asset management, vulnerability scanning, patch management and other Information Assurance Vulnerability Alert support.

Naval Facilities Engineering Systems Command received five bids for the task order through a competitive acquisition process.
