Raytheon won a $82 million contract with the Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO). The contract funds a massive Indian air navigation system modernization project. Ground stations for the new Geosynchronous Augmented Navigation System (GAGAN) will be built by Raytheon. GAGAN will use GPS technology and give India satellite-navigation equipment to be used all over India as well as South and East Asian areas.
