Acorn Growth Companies has acquired a majority stake in Robbins-Gioia, a management consulting firm that aims to help public and private sector customers modernize systems.
“We see this partnership with Acorn as a key driver in the achievement of our vision to be the leader in delivering modernization and transformation for the federal government and similarly complex enterprises,” Brad King, RG CEO, said in a statement released said Monday.
Rick Nagel, managing partner of Acorn, said RG’s experience in updating complex enterprise systems can help drive growth for the company as it seeks to address national security requirements.
RG is headquartered in Alexandria, Va., and offers the Jaguar Family of Advanced Scheduling Tools, a software suite developed with the U.S. Air Force and Navy.
The tools are designed to manage repair and maintenance work on missile systems, nuclear submarines and transport aircraft.
