The U.S. Army has launched a full and open competition for a potential seven-year, $823.3M contract that will cover upgrade work on components of the Distributed Common Ground System-Army.
The multiple-award indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract has a four-year base period and one three-year options, according to a FedBizOpps solicitation notice posted Thursday.
Contractors will refurbish or replace DCGS-A parts used to process data from disparate sources to address the service branch’s requirements for commercial tools that could support centralized data processing and transmission of geospatial information for mission command purposes.
The Army plans to allocate $3.5K for the initial task order.
DCGS-A is a system of systems comprised of hardware and software designed to help military personnel manage intelligence operations and visualize data from battlefield sensors and other platforms.
