General Dynamics (NYSE: GD) has received a one-year, $296.1M contract to supply the U.S. Army with ground-based tactical systems designed to support signals intelligence and electronic warfare missions.
The company’s mission systems business will produce Prophet Enhanced systems under the cost-plus-fixed-fee, firm-fixed-price, the Department of Defense said Tuesday.
Army Contracting Command received one bid for the contract and will determine performance locations and funds with each order.
GDMS is expected to complete work by June 15, 2020.
Prophet Enhanced will employ a modular architecture intended to simplify integration with a vehicle and offer situational awareness for brigade combat teams and battlefield surveillance brigades.
