Manassas, Va.-based ATCC will work with the National Center for Immunizations and Respiratory Diseases to characterize viral and bacterial pathogens in support of CDCs surveillance and emergency response efforts.
The nonprofit will also help the agency distribute reagents across the department, public health laboratory partners, researchers and developers for characterization of circulating and novel viruses and bacteria.
ATCC will take reagent order requests through CDCs International Reagent Resource website.
