General Dynamics‘ (NYSE: GD) land systems business has secured a $148.9 million contract modification to supply parts for the U.S. Army‘s Stryker ground combat vehicles.
The Defense Departmentsaid Friday that GDLS will perform work under the modified contract through Feb. 28, 2019.
Stryker medium-weight vehicles are designed to address a gap between the capacities of armored and infantry brigade combat formations.
The vehicles employ common government-furnished subsystems, a common chassis and mission equipment package.
