Douglas Lopez
Douglas Doug Lopez, formerly chief operating officer of Engineering Services Network, has been promoted to president at the Woodbridge, Virginia-based government information technology and engineering services contractor.
Lopez will oversee the implementation and delivery of IT, cyber engineering, program management and logistics services to Defense Department and federal civilian agency clients, ESN said Tuesday.
“Doug brings significant leadership, a rich military background, and a wealth of experience in engineering, IT and cyber engineering to ESN,” said Raymond Lopez, chairman, CEO and founder of ESN.
Doug joined ESN in 1998 as a systems analyst and since then held program management and leadership positions at the company, such as director of tidewater operations and fleet support services division.
The 20-year ESN veteran previously worked at U.S. Robotics and 3Com with oversight over product management operations.
Lopez also served in the U.S. Marine Corps for five years.
ESN is a service-disabled, veteran-owned small business established in 1995 to provide cybersecurity, systems engineering, data center consolidation, network design, health IT, acquisition and mission assurance support services to government and military clients.
