According to the Department of Defense, “BAE Systems is being awarded a $15, 055, 700 cost-plus-award-fee contract for USS Jason Dunahm (DDG 109) post shakedown availability. This contract includes options which, if exercised, would bring the cumulative value of this contract to $31, 030, 362. Work will be performed in Norfolk, Va., and is expected to be completed by September 2011. Contract funds in the amount of $3, 011, 140 will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was competitively procured via Navy Electronic Commerce Online website, with three offers received. The Naval Sea Systems Command, Washington, D.C., is the contracting activity (N00024-11-C-2314).”
