CGI’s George Schindler Talks Stanley Acquisition

CGI’s George Schindler recently had an exclusive sit down with ExecutiveBiz where he discussed his firm’s billion-dollar acquisition of Stanley Associates: “This is an exciting time for CGI Federal with the recent announcement on Friday, May 7, 2010 of the definitive merger agreement for CGI to acquire Stanley Inc. After the transaction, CGI Federal will have around $1.2 billion in annual revenue.

George Schindler, the President of CGI Federal, says “the acquisition of Stanley marks a very big day for CGI because it really brings us back into the defense and intelligence space.”

CGI Federal has been looking for this type of acquisition for six years. The acquisition “will be bringing high quality employees into the fold, with a client base that really completes CGI as an end to end government services provider, ” said Schindler.”
