Steve Hamric Appointed Chief Financial Officer at Astrion

Astrion announced on LinkedIn Tuesday that it has named Steve Hamric as its new chief financial officer.

Who Is Steve Hamric?

Hamric is a seasoned executive with over 30 years of industry experience, establishing a career focused on enhancing financial performance in aerospace, defense, manufacturing, IT and enterprise software. He held the CFO position for various companies in the last two decades, gaining significant knowledge in providing strategic financial leadership. The executive also brings a proven history of driving value creation and navigating mergers and acquisitions.

Career Highlights

Before joining Astrion, Hamric served as CFO of Cognosante for nearly four years. He worked closely with the CEO and founder, playing an instrumental part in the company’s acquisition by Accenture Federal Services in 2024. He was CFO of the 1901 Group, which was acquired by Leidos in January 2021. He also served as CFO of TeraThink, until it was purchased by CGI Federal Technology in March 2020. Prior to that, he was with iGov for over seven years as CFO and senior vice president and at Athena Technologies also as CFO for seven years. Earlier in his career, he was the director of finance at Entevo and assistant controller at Airborne Forwarding.
