HawkEye 360 Appoints New Leaders for Innovative Signal Analysis UnitHawkEye 360 has named Cory Peichel senior vice president and general manager of Innovative Signal Analysis, or ISA, and appointed Mark Volpi as the business unit’s vice president and deputy general manager.

Peichel will oversee HawkEye–ISA’s overall performance and serve as its senior customer-facing executive, reporting to HawkEye 360 Chief Operating Officer Todd Probert, a two-time Wash100 Award recipient. Volpi will support strategy, operations and customer engagement as Peichel’s deputy.

Leadership moves like these reflect how quickly the intelligence community is evolving around advanced analytics, signals intelligence and data-driven mission solutions. Those themes are at the heart of the 2026 Intel Summit, hosted by the Potomac Officers Club on Sept. 24. The summit focuses on how technology — data, AI, cyber capabilities and secure information-sharing — is transforming intelligence operations in an era defined by global competition and rapid innovation. Register now for a chance to gain clarity on priorities, hear directly from top officials and build strategic relationships.

Who Are the New HawkEye–ISA Leaders?

Peichel has spent about three decades in government intelligence and signals work, much of it at Raytheon. Before joining ISA in 2022 as enterprise solutions and strategy director, he held a series of leadership roles at Raytheon, running geospatial intelligence and intelligence-processing business areas and directing large GEOINT system programs. His background spans both electro-optical and radio-frequency capabilities, from sensors through end-user intelligence products.

Volpi most recently served as a staff engineer at ISA, rejoining the company in September 2025 following his tenure as a director at Lone Star Analysis. This marked his second stint with the organization, having originally spent 18 years at ISA after joining as a senior software systems engineer in January 2003.

Peichel and Volpi were instrumental in integrating ISA into HawkEye 360.

“Cory and Mark’s technical insight, operational discipline, and long‑standing mission focus position HawkEye–ISA for continued growth. Their leadership will help accelerate innovation and expand the value we deliver through advanced analytics and RF data solutions,” said Probert.

How Does ISA Fit Into HawkEye 360?

HawkEye 360 acquired Innovative Signal Analysis, a developer of high-performance signal-processing technology, in December 2025. The deal paired HawkEye 360’s space-based radio-frequency data with ISA’s real-time processing algorithms and edge and cloud tools. ISA has operated as a subsidiary since the acquisition.

The leadership changes follow a busy stretch for the company, which went public on the New York Stock Exchange under the ticker “HAWK” in May after filing for its initial public offering in April.
