Shannon Kelley Named Chief Growth Officer at DecisionPoint

Shannon Kelley has been named chief growth officer at DecisionPoint, the information technology company announced on LinkedIn Saturday.

The Gaithersburg, Maryland-based contractor said Kelley brings 20 years of experience in driving growth and implementing strategies that have resulted in more than $240 million in revenue. As the new CGO, she will lead DecisionPoint’s growth efforts with a focus on marketing, capture management, business development and proposal management.

Shannon Kelley’s Professional Background

Before her most recent move, Kelley served at Magellan Federal as CGO and vice president of strategic development. She was also the senior VP of strategy and business development at M9 Solutions, where she oversaw the small business’ growth of its software, cloud, cyber and data services.

The DecisionPoint executive also briefly worked as director of capture at Octo, formerly B3 Group. Kelley spent over two years at ProSphere holding various positions including acting VP of civilian programs, VP of defense programs and director of account management.

The growth and strategy expert served as senior director at Three Wire Systems, senior associate at PwC and manager at Eagle Hill Consulting. She also spent four years at CALIBRE Systems, where she was program director of transition support services and principal analyst. 

Kelley started her industry career at Booz Allen Hamilton where she was senior consultant for over two years. In this role, she supported the Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense in the Disability Evaluation System and the Senior Oversight Committee, which was involved with the President’s Commission on Care for America’s Returning Wounded Warriors.
