The U.S. Space Force has awardedModern Technology Solutions Inc. a potential five-year, $640 million contract to build and deliver Defensive Cyber Operations for Space, or DCO-S, capabilities across the military branch.
“The Digital Bloodhound award selection is a significant step forward for MTSI in providing engineering, test, and sustainment leadership and best-value solutions in the space domain in support of the warfighter,” Kevin Robinson, president and CEO of MTSI, said in a statement published Thursday.
Digital Bloodhound Contract Scope
The contract with Space Systems Command has a one-year base term and four option years.
The Digital Bloodhound program calls for the vendor to provide software development and deployment, integrated program management, cloud services and mission/field deployment and sustainment support to mitigate cyber risks and improve defensive cyber capabilities across the Space Force.
MTSI will provide capabilities and support the command through its Colorado Springs, Colorado-based office.
