Work on the personnel and cargo lift aircraft will be delivered to three military sites across the United States and 17 international locations, including Argentina, Brazil, Egypt, Honduras, Japan, Kenya, Morocco, Philippines, Saudi Arabia, Turkey and Norway.
The IDIQ was awarded following a competitive acquisition process, with three offers received, according to the DOD. The Air Force Life Cycle Management Center, which serves as the contracting activity, issued a request for information on companies that can provide the required services in March.
According to the notice, the USAF may add other aircraft and locations into the program in the future.
