Amentum has received a potential five-year, $256 million follow-on contract from NASA to provide program, engineering, project management, science and operations support services for the space agency’s Ames Research Center in California.
NASA said Friday Southeastern Universities Research Association will serve as a subcontractor to Amentum on the single-award Fully Integrated Lifecycle Mission Support Services 2 contract.
Contract work will commence on June 17 and includes biosciences flight development projects, aeronautics research projects, collaborative science programs and specialized technical and professional support services for various Ames offices in Silicon Valley.
The contract has a phase-in period of 60 days, a two-year base term and three one-year options.
