Special Aerospace Services, a portfolio company of Godspeed Capital Management, has acquired Willbrook Solutions, a Huntsville, Alabama-headquartered provider of analytics services to defense, civilian and intelligence sectors.
Willbrook will bring a team of 75 cleared industry professionals who support critical missile defense programs to SAS, a newly established Godspeed Capital platform focused on space engineering, defense and communications technology, the private equity firm said Tuesday.
“We look forward to leveraging our strong engineering, analytical capabilities and expertise across critical missile defense programs while supporting strategic customers and pursuing organic growth opportunities in conjunction with SAS,” said Kendell Phillips, president of Willbrook.
Heather Bulk, CEO of SAS, said the company will engage with the Willbrook senior leadership team to expand its relationship with the Missile Defense Agency and other key clients.
Willbrook marks the first acquisition of Godspeed’s SAS platform since it was launched in early April to support the U.S. defense and intelligence communities.
